DJ Ikeler

Founder and President
DJ Ikeler is an innovative and visionary leader. Mr. Ikeler has over 10 years of experience serving on non-profit boards and councils. He is the Lead Pastor of an urban ministry whose core mission is community outreach. As President, Mr. Ikeler is responsible for the overseeing of day-to-day activities of the Center, working with board members, managing community relationships and strategic planning.

Andrea Meyer

VP, Programs and Engagement Detroit Director
Andrea has been in the field of education since 2005. Andrea has worked to develop the after school program since January of 2015. Prior to that, Andrea gained experience as a classroom teacher for 10 years, mostly in the subject area of Language Arts in a variety of urban settings from Center Line MI to South Central Los Angeles. She has served on the Leadership Team of two Charter Schools, adding valuable insight to discussions on school structures and best practices for student success. Her work at Center for Success has offered the opportunity to bring parents and community members into the conversation of serving and uplifting urban youth. Andrea holds certifications in Evidence Based Literacy Instruction (EBLI) and English Language Development (ELD) which support her role in creating meaningful, individualized lessons for struggling readers at the center. In addition, Andrea has been able to connect with various community organizations to bring a well-rounded program to the youth at the Center for Success Detroit. Andrea sits on the Board of Directors for both the Center for Success and the Grosse Pointe Old Devils. Andrea oversees the implementation of the Detroit program, including all lesson planning and mentor training. Andrea holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from Western Michigan University, gaining her degree through their Urban Education program.

Jamie Price-Tober

Director of Operations – Saginaw, MI

Since 2008, Jamie has been working as Office Manager for a private practice in Bay City, serving both children and adults who have mild to severe Autism Spectrum Disorders, Traumatic Brain Injuries, and other various physical, cognitive, and behavioral diagnoses. As Director of Operations, Jamie plans strategic goals, operational objectives, and monitors objectives for achievement. Jamie also determines what resources, including mentors and funds, are needed as well as manages mentors by implementing the Center’s policies and procedures and sustaining clear communication with them as well as other Center team members.
Jamie holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Management and a Master of Science with a concentration in Health Administration and Leadership from Saginaw Valley State University. She is a Pepsiholic, loves animals and shopping, and cherishes free time spent with friends and family.

Jordan Dann

Director of Programming – Saginaw, MI

Jordan graduated from Saginaw Valley State University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science degree and a teaching certificate in mathematics. He is also a RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) who works at a private practice in Bay City with learners of all ages who experience academic, behavioral and communication deficits. As Director of Programming, he prepares lesson plans, tracks student progress and facilitates mentor development. Jordan is excited about infusing mathematics into the programming at the Center for Success and looks forward to making math fun.
Jordan is currently pursuing a Master of Arts degree in Speech Language Pathology at Eastern Michigan University. He loves coffee, the smell of old books and studying personality typing.
