Together, we work alongside students, families, schools, and communities to create meaningful learning experiences rooted in connection, equity, and belonging.
Steven Addo
Literacy Program Associate, Detroit Hub
Steven is passionate about working with youth and community development. Originally from Liberia, West Africa, he enjoys sharing his culture through food and creating meaningful learning experiences for young people.
Andrea Meyer
Executive Director
Andrea has served as Executive Director of Center for Success Network since 2018. She is passionate about building equitable learning opportunities and collaborates with community partners to expand high-quality programs for youth throughout Metro Detroit.
Madonna Addo
Lead Literacy Instructor
Madonna is pursuing a degree in education at Wayne State University and is passionate about literacy, teaching, and helping young people succeed. As a Lead Literacy Instructor with Center for Success Network Detroit, she is honored to support students in building confidence, strengthening their reading skills, and developing a lifelong love of learning.
Maddie Toro
Literacy Program Manager
Maddie has been part of the CFSN team since 2018, serving as a mentor, Lead Literacy Instructor, and now Volunteer Engagement Associate. She believes literacy is the foundation for lifelong success and is passionate about connecting volunteers with meaningful opportunities to support students and strengthen the community. A graduate of the College for Creative Studies, Maddie enjoys making ceramics, gardening, going to the movies, and spending time outdoors.
Candace Williams
Development Manager

Isabella Crook
Lead Literacy Instructor + Volunteer Engagement Associate
Isabella serves as a Lead Literacy Instructor at Center for Success Network, supporting students at Brilliant Detroit locations. She holds degrees in Communication and Public Relations from Oakland University and is passionate about building meaningful relationships that help young people grow and succeed. Before joining CFSN, she worked in nonprofit public relations and youth programming. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, reading, exploring new places, and spending time with family and friends.
Tina Perkins
Literacy Program Manager
Tina brings more than 22 years of experience as an educator and now serves as CFSN's Community Literacy Program Manager. She believes the nonprofit community allows her to make an even greater impact by creating meaningful learning experiences for students, families, and mentors. As the proud mother of four adult children, she brings compassion and dedication to everything she does.
Tyana Meiner
Literacy Program Associate
Tyana serves as the Literacy Program Associate at CFSN's Pontiac location and holds a master's degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Kent State University. She is passionate about supporting students as they grow in confidence, strengthen their literacy skills, and reach the next stage of their educational journey. She enjoys building meaningful relationships. n her free time, she enjoys spending time in nature and exploring new places.
Michelle Halagian
Literacy Program Coordinator
Michelle serves as CFSN's Community Literacy Program Coordinator in Detroit and brings nearly a decade of experience supporting youth through educational programs and community initiatives. She is passionate about creating meaningful learning experiences that help students grow in confidence, strengthen their literacy skills, and reach their full potential. Outside of work, Michelle enjoys fitness, personal development, reading, and writing her own book.
Shanelle mitchell
Literacy Program Manager
Shanelle serves as a Literacy Program Manager at Center for Success Network and holds a Master of Arts in Reading from Eastern Michigan University and a Bachelor of Science in Special Education from The University of Akron. She is passionate about helping young learners develop strong literacy skills that prepare them for lifelong success. Before joining CFSN, Shanelle taught in both Ohio and Michigan. In her free time, she enjoys painting, traveling, reading, and spending time with loved ones.
Heidi Miller
Senior Director of Learning
Heidi serves as CFSN's Senior Director of Learning, overseeing programming and curriculum across all sites. Before joining Center for Success Network, she spent 10 years teaching elementary students in Michigan and internationally. She is passionate about creating engaging learning experiences that help every student thrive. Outside of work, Heidi enjoys reading, exploring new adventures, trying new things, running, and spending time with her two children.
